Overview:
On World Telecommunication & Information Society Day, Morutwa Secondary School, in partnership with the Telkom Foundation and the Deputy Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Honourable Philly Mapulane, proudly inaugurated a state-of-the-art ICT Lab in Madiga, Capricorn District, Limpopo Province.
Event Highlights:
- ICT Lab Handover: A 40-seater lab equipped to benefit learners, educators, and the community.
- Educator Support: Provision of 10 laptops to assist educators with administrative tasks.
- Furniture Donation: Repurposed Telkom school desks and office furniture for classrooms and staff rooms.
- Infrastructure Improvement: Restoration of electricity in one of the school’s classroom blocks.
- Future Plans: Introduction of Coding & Robotics Kits (to be confirmed) and the donation of a school website with email addresses for staff.
